Google Business Verification Video Rejected? What to Check Next
A practical guide to reviewing the feedback, planning a clearer recording and separating verification problems from suspensions.
Start with the feedback in your profile
Open the profile you are trying to verify and check the result. Google directs owners to Review issues when a recording was not accepted. Capture the actual explanation before planning another attempt. A failed upload, a pending review and a rejected recording are different situations. Describe what the screen says rather than assuming that each means the business has been suspended.
Turn the feedback into a recording plan
Make a short worksheet with three columns: the issue Google identified, what you will show and where it fits in the recording. Google’s examples include missing surroundings, an unclear business name and insufficient evidence of management. The next recording should retain the required evidence already shown and add what was missing. Do not focus so narrowly on one correction that you leave out the rest.
Rehearse the route before filming
Our suggested preparation is a short walk-through without recording. Confirm that everything you intend to show is accessible and that you can move through the sequence without a break. Charge the phone, check the connection and avoid a busy period when customers may interrupt. A rehearsal is for your preparation; it is not the video you submit. Keep a written checklist nearby so you do not have to remember the sequence under pressure.
Use the right evidence for your business model
Google distinguishes storefront, hybrid and service-area businesses. Review the requirements that apply to your operation rather than imitating another company’s recording. An authentic service business should show its actual operation, not stage a shop solely for verification. For initial planning, read our service-area verification guide and follow the current instructions in your own account.
Record through the verification workflow
Google requires a continuous, unedited recording of at least 30 seconds, captured and uploaded through the Business Profile on a mobile device. Follow the permissions prompts and review the video before submitting. A polished edited promotional video serves a different purpose and does not meet this workflow. Keep private information, sensitive numbers and other people’s faces out of the recording.
Keep a useful attempt log
For your own records, note the submission date, the issue addressed and the result. Do not store unnecessary copies of sensitive material. If someone assists you, share the feedback and planning notes so they can see what changed between attempts. This log helps avoid repeating the same misunderstanding. It does not influence Google’s decision by itself.
If the problem continues
Check whether the profile offers another verification method and follow the available support path if the issue remains unresolved. Google determines the options offered. Avoid paying anyone who promises to unlock an unavailable method or bypass review. If the notice explicitly says suspended or disabled, switch to our profile-status guide before taking further action.
Questions owners often ask
Does rejection mean permanent ineligibility? It means the recording was not accepted; review the stated issues and business requirements. Should I submit the same video again? Plan a new recording that addresses the feedback. Can an agency guarantee approval? No. Preparation assistance can make your evidence clearer, but Google makes the decision. What should I send for help? Your website, the exact feedback and a short explanation of how the business operates are useful starting points.
